How Delivery Pricing Works

We deliver tiles, mosaic tiles, trims and accessories Australia-wide. Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery postcode and total order weight — there’s no need to request a quote for most orders.

  • All shipping rates shown on this page are inclusive of GST.
  • Your order’s total weight determines which of our fixed weight ranges it falls into (e.g. 450.01–550kg) — the price listed for that range, for your delivery zone, is your total delivery cost.
  • Normal residential delivery and tail-lift access are included in the listed rates — there is no additional surcharge.
  • Orders above 4,000 kg require a manual freight quote.

How shipping is calculated

  • We match your delivery postcode to one of our delivery zones (a group of nearby postcodes with the same rate).
  • Your order’s total weight places it into one of our fixed weight ranges (e.g. 450.01–550kg) — the price listed for that range, for your zone, is your full delivery cost, not an extra fee on top of a lighter range.
  • All prices shown are inclusive of GST, with normal residential delivery and tail-lift access included — no extra surcharge.
  • Orders above 4,000 kg always require a manual freight quote, as do a small number of remote/special postcodes.

Finding your area

  • Just enter your postcode above — we’ll tell you exactly which delivery zone it belongs to (e.g. “NSW – Sydney Metro” or “QLD – North QLD / Mt Isa”).
  • Zones aren’t just capital cities — every state has metro, regional and remote zones, each priced differently.
  • If your postcode isn’t recognised, it’s one of a small number of areas priced individually — contact us and we’ll confirm your rate.

Trims, edging, spacers and other accessory-only orders are priced by item count, not weight — see the table below. Can’t get a result above, or ordering more than 4,000 kg? Contact us and we’ll confirm the exact rate.

Orders of more than 150 trims/accessory items require a manual freight review — contact us for a quote.

Regional, Remote & Manual Quote Areas

Most Regional delivery fees are calculated automatically at checkout, the same as Metro and Non-Metro orders. A small number of remote, island or difficult-access locations are priced individually rather than shown automatically, including:

  • Extreme remote areas of QLD and NT (e.g. islands, Yulara)
  • A small number of NT regional postcodes not yet mapped for automatic pricing

If a delivery rate does not appear for your postcode at checkout, please contact us and we will provide a quote.

How Are My Tiles Packed & Delivered?

Orders are packed on one or more pallets. Maximum load per pallet ranges from 750 kg up to 1,000 kg, depending on the carrier delivering your order.

To ensure safe delivery, all orders that weigh above 18kg will be delivered on a pallet and are taken direct to kerbside using a tail-lift truck or forklift. Residential and tail-lift delivery are included where required, and delivery is to the kerbside or driveway only.

Due to insurance and health and safety regulations, our third-party delivery drivers are unable to transport goods into a customer’s property. This means they won’t necessarily be brought to your driveway or front door.

Hazards or obstructions, e.g. sloped or gravel driveways, may result in the delivery being made to an alternative location. Access restrictions, e.g. narrow roads, may also lead to a delay or failure in delivery. Orders will not be unpacked or carried indoors by the third-party delivery driver.

You must be available to accept delivery on the date you have requested — failure to do so will result in a re-delivery charge.

Can I Make Changes To My Order Once It Has Been Placed?

Please choose carefully. Once your order is placed, we begin arranging for your product straight away, so we’re unable to offer a change of mind refund, return, exchange or cancellation.

My Order Hasn’t Arrived Yet, What Should I Do?

Re-Delivery Charges

Once a delivery date has been arranged either through the website or with a member of our sales team, you will need to ensure someone is available to accept the order, as it cannot be left unattended. If you are not there on the arranged date, our third-party delivery company may charge a re-delivery fee.

We will contact our third-party delivery company on your behalf to confirm what that cost will be.

Accepting Your Delivery

Please ensure that a responsible person is present at delivery to inspect, check and sign for your order.

We operate to extremely high standards, so we’re very sorry if there’s any damage to your order. All orders leave our warehouse in perfect condition, but damage can occasionally happen in transit.

Due to the fragile nature of tiles, we include an extra 15% allowance for wastage, and total box counts are automatically rounded up to whole boxes.

If you notice or suspect any damage, please contact us within 3 business days of receiving your order at sales@cocotilesandmosaics.com.au so we can assist.

Pickup (Click & Collect)

Click and Collect is free on all orders. You can collect your order from our Brisbane Warehouse. At checkout, select ‘Pick Up’. We’ll email you when your order is ready for collection, which may take up to 3 business days — you may also receive a call from the store.

Collection times: Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm.

Please note tiles are heavy — some boxes can weigh up to 36kg.
